Hello friends,

I must admit I'm getting pretty stoaked about the upcoming Sacramento Film Festival. Any filmmakers participating are invited to bring a cool story to tell this Friday. For those out of the area check our site now. there are some VERY cool things coming your way oif you live in LA the Bay Area or are ready for Vegas (NAB you know).

This Friday, I'm really looking forward to this talk by David Valentine in Sacramento. Not only is he a master magician (having done deeds for some of the industry's greatest), he's also a magician with the Trans-media. What's Transmedia you say? Well, David has essembled a team of experts like Robert Pratten of Culture Hacker and Timothy Hooten of Mirimax and he'll be unleashing them on us at our Digital Odyssey Conference on April 24th. The idea is helping YOU make a million dollars with or without Hollywood!

But this Friday night is your opportunity to meet David and get a measure of the man before you plunk down your $20 for his seminar on the 24th. Now how is that for a test drive??

BTW - I just can't help myself and must divulge a few tidbits about the upcoming festival...Are you listening screenwriters?? There will be two VERY BIG guests with us on opening day (April 17). I'm talking about the screenwriters of PIXAR's CARS!!!! That's right and they are going to give you some insight into the creative process at Pixar and how to write a million dollar screenplay (ok, a 240 million dollar screenplay)!

So let's get buckled in this Friday. You'll hear more tidbits from me, from David and from the other filmmakers. If you haven't yet RSVP'd please do so and I'll see you at the show!

Marty

PS- I'm lookin for a few good online promoters to help me sing the praises of this thing. know any?? Call me
